A Speiz Boiz Sági ‘Vanis’ Viktor, Boros Levente és Heilig Tamás triója. Mindegyikük sok más projektből is ismerős lehet, ebben a formációban a hip-hop-ban gyökerező, de a mély pszichedéliába hajló groove-okon keresztül egészen a nyolcavanas évek rock hangzásáig kacsintgató agymenéseiket játszák le és veszik fel. Ha azt mondanánk, hogy ők a magyar Khruangbinba oltott BadBadNotGood, szörnyen hatásvadászul hangzana, de nem járnánk messze a valóságtól. Bemutatkozó kislemezük két száma merőben különbözik egymástól, de mindkettőben az a zsigeri funk lüktet, ami minden zenét ellenállhatatlanná tesz, amiben ott van. Az A oldalas Speiz Banger dob-basszus alapja húz, mint egy tehervonat, miközben gyönyörűen olvad össze a két méterrel felette úszó szinti és gitár kombóval. A Break Bottle egy konvencionálisabb instrumental beatnek indul, hogy aztán valami egészen másként érjen véget, ami pedig közben történik, azt csak nagyon kevés más magyar zenekar tudja produkálni.
A lemez két különbözö címkevariációval és kétféle borítóban jelenik meg háromszáz példányban limitált, 45-ös fordulaton játszható 7” vinyl kislemezen.

Speiz Bois is a trio of three seasoned Hungarian musicians active in countless other projects (think of the already cult Jazzbois outfit) playing a unique fusion of hip-hop, spaced out psychedelic grooves and melancholic 80’s guitar sounds. ‘SpeizBanger’ on side A is one of those timeless songs that are hard to be described, but we are pretty sure this is what an imaginary demo by random members of BadBadNotGood and Khruangbin, recorded in a smokey Budapest home studio would sound like. ‘BreakBottle’ on the flip starts off as a more conventional live groove until the ethereal synths and guitar harmonies come in, from then it sounds like the fictional demo described above. The single is limited to 300 copies, 150-150 copies come in black/white sleeves with white/black labels.
